Jacob Elordi Thinks ‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Should be Set in The Future

Having a chat with Jimmy Fallon on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,’ Elordi revealed the current state of the HBO teen drama ‘Euphoria’ and when they’re kicking off shooting. With a twinkle in his eye, Elordi quirkily quipped to the talk show maestro, “I’m crossing my fingers for it to be soon, or they might need to Benjamin Button me or something. Imagine me with a bad back strolling down the hallway, right?”

In his comeback, Elordi, the lad who rocks the role of the antagonistic jock Nate Jacobs, slyly nodded to the extensive gaps between each season of the show. These hiatuses have caused the cast to age more than fine wine, even though each season supposedly happens one after the other.

The initial ‘Euphoria’ blast hit the screens in 2019, the second dropped in 2022, and we’re now gearing up for the third, which is slated for next year. That’s a whopping six years in the making for a story set within a tight three-year span.

The latest season of ‘Euphoria’ had already been put on pause as the show’s maestro, Sam Levinson, was busy directing ‘The Idol.’ Francesca Orsi, the bigwig at HBO Drama, spilled the beans to Deadline in May, saying Levinson’s hustle on that, mixed with Zendaya’s jam-packed diary and the recent situation with the actors and writers’ strike, would likely shove the premiere to 2025.
