Jason Aldean recently announced on Instagram that he’ll be honouring Keith during the ACM Awards 2024. Aldean shared his deep admiration for Keith, revealing his long-standing appreciation for the singer’s music.
In a statement obtained from ABC News, Aldean expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to pay homage to Keith, whom he considers a musical inspiration. He reminisced about performing Keith’s songs early in his career and the privilege of sharing the stage with him. Aldean emphasized the significance of celebrating Keith’s legendary career and unique legacy.

Apart from Aldean’s tribute, the ACM Awards 2024 will showcase performances by various renowned artists. Post Malone will make his debut at the awards, while Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are set to deliver a captivating joint performance. Kelsea Ballerini, nominated for Best Female Artist and Album of the Year, will perform alongside Noah Kahan.
The star-studded lineup for the ACM Awards also includes Nate Smith, Avril Lavigne, Parker McCollum, Kane Brown, Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Chris Stapleton, Lainey Wilson, and host Reba McEntire.
As Aldean prepares to pay tribute to Keith, his reverence for the late star promises a touching moment during the awards ceremony. The ACM Awards 2024 will premiere on 16th May 2024, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT, streaming live on Prime Video from the Ford Center at The Star in Texas.
