Jelly Roll Teams Up With Anne Wilson For ‘Save Me’ at Faster Horses Festival

During the Faster Horses Festival, Anne Wilson stepped in to perform Jelly Roll’s hit song ‘Save Me’, taking over the duet spot initially reserved for Lainey Wilson. This impromptu performance not only delighted fans but also allowed Anne to tick off a major “bucket list item.”

The memorable moment occurred at Jelly Roll’s headlining set at the music festival in Brooklyn, Michigan. Despite Lainey Wilson’s absence, Anne Wilson was warmly introduced by Jelly Roll, who praised her as “one of the greatest people I’ve ever met.” Following the performance, Anne shared a photo on Instagram, capturing the excitement of the night.

She wrote, “Ended the week on Friday night by @jellyroll asking me to join him on stage to sing ‘Save Me’🥹 what a dream!!!! Another bucket list item checked off!!!! You’re the best.” In the lead-up to the duet, Anne documented her preparations on social media. She posted a video revealing her excitement after receiving the call from Jelly Roll, mentioning that she had “dreamt this exact same thing happening.” 

Her enthusiasm was palpable as she prepared for the performance, and she shared a video of the actual duet, highlighting the special moment with Jelly Roll. Her caption read, “When Jelly Roll asks you last minute to sing with him and you say YES!!!!!” 

Lainey Wilson, who performed at the festival the following night, showed her support for Anne by commenting on the video posted on TikTok. She wrote, “My Wilson girl. Love you. Keep on shining that LIGHT like you do,” expressing her approval and admiration for Anne’s performance.

Jelly Roll’s appearance at the Faster Horses Festival was part of his Beautifully Broken Tour, which continued with performances across the United States. Meanwhile, Anne Wilson had recently released her second album, ‘Rebel, marking a transition from contemporary Christian music to the country genre. She had previously expressed her initial hesitation about this shift, as she told but the festival performance affirmed her successful pivot into country music.
