Jennifer Lopez Plans Vacation Amid Marriage Tension With Ben Affleck
Jennifer Lopez is gearing up for her summer vacation!
The 54-year-old ‘Atlas’ star is making travel plans, according to a source from PEOPLE. Live Nation announced that Lopez is taking this summer to spend time with her children, family, and close friends. This announcement came as she cancelled her planned concert tour amid reported tensions in her marriage to Ben Affleck.
Lopez is known for her epic summer getaways with both friends and Affleck. In previous years, they have enjoyed trips to France and Italy, including their 2022 honeymoon in Milan and Lake Como, as well as a birthday celebration on Capri.

Though she has often described herself as “not a big vacation person,” Lopez has expressed her love for Italy. In a 2023 interview with Travel + Leisure, she shared how spending consecutive summers in southern Italy changed her perspective on vacations. “I was like, ‘Oh my God, is this what I’ve been missing my whole life,'” she joked.
Lopez’s favourite aspect of Italy might hint at her vacation plans this year. “I just love being on the water, to be honest. The water calms me. I can sit still and stare at the ocean and sky,” she said. “I like being on the coast, eating outside, and enjoying the fresh air.”
In 2021, Lopez and Affleck celebrated her 52nd birthday on a yacht off the Amalfi Coast and visited St. Tropez, a popular summer spot for celebrities. “They are having a beautiful trip,” a source told PEOPLE at the time.
Despite current marital strains, Lopez and Affleck remain amicable. Lopez posted a heartfelt Father’s Day message, calling Affleck “our hero.” Affleck shares three children with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner and is stepdad to Lopez’s twins, Max and Emme. Recently, the blended family attended Samuel’s graduation party together, where Lopez and Affleck were seen wearing their wedding rings.
The couple is quietly trying to sell their $61 million Beverly Hills home bought in 2023. While Lopez has been living there, Affleck is staying at a rental nearby. Despite this, they “see each other every few days,” according to a source.
