Fans of 'To All the Boys I've Loved Before' and its spin-off 'XO, Kitty' have reason to celebrate! The highly awaited Season 3 of 'XO, Kitty' will debut globally on 2nd April, 2026, according to official confirmation from Netflix and creator Jenny Han. In addition to the announcement, the streamer dropped exclusive images that gave viewers a peek inside Kitty Song Covey's final year at KISS, which will be filled with friendship, romance, and surprising turns. Expectations for Kitty's next chapter are high following the success of the first two seasons, which won viewers over with her charm, comedy, and maturation.

From Spin‑Off Success to Big Renewal: The Journey of 'XO, Kitty'

Drawing inspiration from Jenny Han's acclaimed 'To All the Boys I've Loved Before' franchise, 'XO, Kitty' swiftly rose to prominence as one of Netflix's most notable young adult romantic comedy shows following its May 2023 debut. Starring Anna Cathcart as the vivacious and fearless Kitty Song Covey, the sitcom started off as a fun spin-off and quickly gained popularity worldwide due to its endearing teen drama, character chemistry, and charm.

Kitty's daring choice to leave home for the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS) in pursuit of love, self-discovery, and the hectic excitement of life overseas was first seen to audiences in Season 1. With deeper friendships, complex relationships, and cultural exploration, the January 2025 follow-up season carried on that journey and debuted at No. 2 on Netflix's English TV List, drawing millions of viewers in its first week.

Given this remarkable audience and fervent fan base, it was not surprising when Netflix, led by Jenny Han, renewed the series for a third season in February 2025. This paved the way for more heart-wrenching romances and K-drama-style storytelling.

What Season 3 Has in Store?

For those who enjoy binge-watching, Netflix and Han have now formally confirmed that 'XO, Kitty' Season 3 will premiere on Thursday, 2nd April, with all eight episodes dropping worldwide at once. In addition to the news, the creator shared exciting first-look images of Kitty and her friends navigating their senior year at KISS, full with love moments, school life, travel vibes, and hopeful smiles that hint at what's to come. According to Netflix, this season promises "heartfelt moments, unexpected twists, and the signature humour fans have come to love."

According to the official logline, Kitty returns with her "perfect senior year planned," resolved to create lasting memories, strengthen ties with her family in Korea, and ultimately establish her relationship with Min Ho (played by Sang Heon Lee)—"for real this time."

However, as viewers of the show are aware, Kitty's plans rarely succeed; shocking disclosures and unexpected turns might undo all she has fought so hard to achieve.

Along with a number of newcomers who join Kitty's world this year, the returning cast include well-known favorites like Sang Heon Lee(Min Ho), Minyeong Choi (Dae), Gia Kim (Yuri), Anthony Keyvan (Q), Regan Aliyah (Juliana), and others. Back behind the scenes, Jenny Han, Matt Kaplan, and Bradley Gardner continue to produce while Valentina Garza, the new showrunner, leads the show and makes sure it maintains the tone that made its first two seasons so popular with viewers.

Why Fans Can't Wait

The emotional journey at the center of 'XO, Kitty' is what has distinguished the show from other teen shows, not simply the romance between the cast members or the fashion, humour, and K-pop-inspired aesthetics. The transformation of Kitty from a funny supporting character in the first 'To All the Boys I've Loved Before' series to a lead character with her own goals and struggles provided viewers new reasons to like her world.

The comedy is set to win hearts once more when it debuts on Netflix this spring, with Season 3 promising more layers—from senior year obstacles to richer romances and surprising curveballs.
