Jessica Biel is Unhappy Over Justin Timberlake’s DUI Arrest

Reports have emerged that Jessica Biel is “not happy” with Justin Timberlake following his recent DUI arrest. Timberlake was arrested earlier this week (June 18) in Long Island, New York, for driving while intoxicated. According to a complaint obtained by the New York Post, the 10-time Grammy Award-winner claimed he had only consumed “one martini” before driving home to follow his friends.

Timberlake also allegedly refused a breathalyser test. His lawyer stated, “The charge was a single count because he refused the breath test. Mr. Timberlake was also charged with two other citations, running a stop sign and not travelling in the correct lane.”

A source close to Biel, who wished to remain anonymous, told People that the arrest of the NSYNC star was “a distraction” for her and that “she’s not happy about it.” This revelation came as Biel was seen on the set of her new Prime Video series, ‘The Better Sister,’ just hours after her husband was detained.

“She had to film yesterday. She doesn’t like any attention on the family, especially not negative,” the source added. They also mentioned that Biel “loves” the ‘Cry Me a River’ singer and “will always be by his side.” Despite reportedly looking “tired” on set, Biel remained “very focused on filming.” The cast and crew had nothing but praise for her, noting her excitement about the project.

Following Timberlake’s arrest on Tuesday, Page Six reported more details about the incident, claiming that the police officer who made the arrest did not recognise the global superstar. An insider told the publication that the officer “was so young that he didn’t even know” who Timberlake was.

According to TMZ, Timberlake is scheduled to appear in court on July 26. The outlet also alleged that the singer’s friends were present during the arrest and pleaded with police to release him, but the officers refused.
