Acclaimed singer Jessie J has recently shared an intimate and heartfelt post on Instagram, revealing her diagnosis of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). On Saturday, July 20th, the artist opened up to her fans, candidly detailing her experiences and emotions.

In her post, Jessie J explained that she was diagnosed with OCD and ADHD three months ago. She wrote about the surreal feeling of finally understanding why she has always felt and experienced things differently. “It’s weird when you know you have been a little different and felt things differently your whole life, and finally one day when you least expect it, someone really explains why and you can’t avoid it,” she expressed in her caption.

The singer went on to describe her diagnosis as a "superpower," emphasising the importance of having the right support system to help navigate the challenges. Jessie J reflected on how this new understanding has made her rethink various aspects of her life, including her behaviour, relationships, work, and the way she loves. She added that this journey has led her to love herself more.

In her post, Jessie J shared two videos showcasing her powerful vocals. The first video is a nostalgic glimpse of her childhood performances, while the second features her as an accomplished adult artist. The heartfelt post resonated with many fans, who flooded the comments section with messages of support and shared their own experiences with OCD and ADHD.

As reported by Out Magazine, Jessie J also made headlines in May when she performed at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles. During the show, she sang her songs in chronological order, including an unreleased and untitled track that addressed her past relationship with a woman.
