Despite Kelce signing a lucrative two-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs, making him the highest-paid tight end in the NFL, Kimmel humorously suggested that Swift might view Kelce's earnings as "gum money" given her immense wealth, with Forbes estimating her net worth at $1.1 billion.

Kimmel playfully referred to Kelce as "the broke boyfriend," implying that even with a $34 million contract, he might still feel financially overshadowed by Swift.

He shared a screenshot of a selfie video Kelce posted on social media after the contract news, highlighting some fans' affectionate comments that compared him to a "baby girl" or "pookiest pookie," prompting Kimmel to jokingly question if Kelce is a football player or a kitten.

Shifting gears, Kimmel congratulated Swift on her unprecedented success, noting her historic achievement of occupying all top 14 spots on Billboard's Hot 100 list.

He also mentioned the popularity of her new album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department,’ which contains lyrics that seemingly reference her relationship with Kelce through football terminology, indicating the couple's mutual admiration and support for each other's careers.
