Joe Jonas, known for his role in the Jonas Brothers, has announced the upcoming release of his new solo album, ‘Music for People Who Believe in Love’. This album, which celebrates gratitude, hope, and love, is set to be released in October 2024.
"This album is a celebration of gratitude, hope, and love. These songs reflect on my life from a bird’s-eye view, acknowledging the many blessings around me," Joe said in a press release. He emphasised that the album's themes stem from taking moments to pause and reflect on the positives in life.

"When we take a moment to breathe, pause, and reflect on the positives, my hope is that we can find acceptance and ultimately peace in the present moment," Joe continued. "It’s okay to cry and mourn a loss – it’s part of the process to take care of ourselves and eventually enables us to be there for the people we care about." His words highlight the album's emotional depth and the personal growth it represents.
In his statement, Joe explained that the album draws from his experiences as a father and as a friend, both to himself and others. He shared that the happiness he finds in his work has been a significant source of inspiration. One memorable instance that inspired the album was a director's handwritten note asking, "What do you want them to feel?" This question continues to resonate with Joe in his music and performances.

"The ability to perform, connect deeply with an audience, and evoke positive emotions, or even healing, is a gift I cherish," Joe shared. His passion for creating music that moves people is evident in this project. He recounted how a particular song sparked his desire to embark on this solo journey, feeling an emotional pull to work on music beyond his contributions to the Jonas Brothers and DNCE.
Before diving into the project, Joe sought the blessings of his brothers, Nick and Kevin. "I asked for my brothers' blessings," he said. "I was like, 'I don’t want to call it solo, but I want to go do something on my own, and I don’t feel like it’s DNCE, and I need to go just express stuff for myself.' And they were like, 'Go for it.'" With Nick booking a movie and Kevin preparing for another season of ‘Claim to Fame’, Joe found the perfect window of time to focus on his solo endeavour.
