At a recent concert at London’s O2 Arena, Alice Cooper gave an emotional tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne. The crowd was stunned when Johnny Depp, made a surprise appearance during the performance. The crowd was stunned as the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star, 62, took the stage alongside Cooper, 77, to perform a powerful rendition of Black Sabbath’s iconic hit 'Paranoid.' The performance honoured the legendary rocker just days after Osbourne passed away on 22nd July at age 76.

Fans captured the emotional tribute on video, which quickly circulated across social media and YouTube. Johnny Depp, a longtime collaborator of Cooper through their band Hollywood Vampires, played guitar during the song as Cooper took the lead in saluting their fallen friend. Cooper even wore an Ozzy Osbourne T-shirt during the performance, symbolising his deep respect for the heavy metal pioneer.

The loss of Osbourne deeply affected the rock community. Cooper shared that he had learned of Osbourne's passing just minutes before going on stage for his 22nd July show in Wales, which he immediately dedicated to Osbourne. Reflecting on the moment, Cooper expressed how difficult it is to process the loss of rock legends. Although many knew Osbourne had been struggling with health issues, the news still came as a shock and left a void among fans and fellow musicians alike.

Cooper said that Osbourne’s music, sense of humour, and legacy would always be remembered. He also praised Osbourne for having a huge impact on the world of rock music. He highlighted how much he contributed not only through his music but also by bringing a unique energy and character to the industry.

He noted that Osbourne had earned the admiration of both fans and fellow musicians as a larger-than-life showman and a true cultural icon. He also shared a personal regret — that he wished he had gotten to know Osbourne better during their time in the industry.

Speaking further on 'The Scott Mills Breakfast Show', Cooper revealed that he and Osbourne genuinely connected and shared a mutual drive to continue performing for as long as possible. He described Osbourne as a “lifer” in rock ‘n’ roll — a term Cooper also used to describe iconic acts like The Rolling Stones and The Beatles, who continue to thrive on stage despite the passage of time.
