Jon Bon Jovi Confirms Jake and Millie Bobby Brown Are Married

Jon Bon Jovi is thrilled about his son Jake Bongiovi’s recent marriage to Millie Bobby Brown. In a clip from his appearance on BBC’s ‘The One Show’, shared on X (formerly Twitter), Bon Jovi proudly confirmed the marriage between Bongiovi, 22, and Brown, 20.

“They’re great,” Bon Jovi said. “They’re absolutely fantastic. It was a very small family wedding, and the bride looked gorgeous. Jake is as happy as can be. It’s true.” According to The Sun, the intimate ceremony was attended by Bon Jovi’s wife, Dorothea Bongiovi, and Brown’s parents.

The couple is planning a larger celebration later this year. After their wedding, the newlyweds were seen shopping in the Hamptons. Photos from PEOPLE show the couple looking happy while driving a Ford convertible. ‘The Stranger Things’ star and her new husband were spotted again on Monday, 27th May, dressed casually and wearing their wedding rings.

It’s not surprising that details about their wedding have been kept private. In a 2023 interview with WWD, Brown mentioned her desire for privacy, saying, “I think probably drawing the curtains, just because there are only so many moments in life that you get only once. And to have everyone’s opinions and eyes looking at that just feels unnatural to me.”

Brown announced her engagement to Bongiovi in April 2023 with an Instagram photo featuring her wearing a diamond ring. She captioned the post with lyrics from Taylor Swift’s ‘Lover,’ writing, “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all 🤍.” 

The engagement came nearly three years after the couple went Instagram official in November 2021 with a romantic photo on the London Eye Ferris wheel. Earlier this month, Brown celebrated Bongiovi’s 22nd birthday with a sweet Instagram post, saying, “The day u were born is my favourite day I love you ❤️.”
