Jon Bon Jovi Supports Son Jake Bongiovi’s Marriage: ‘They’re a Perfect Match’

The renowned musician, 62, expressed his respect for the 20-year-old ‘Stranger Things’ actor in a recent interview with The Times U.K., highlighting her impressive work ethic. In light of his son Jake Bongiovi’s connection with Brown, Bon Jovi observed that the couple will travel on their trip together in a special way with the help of their family.

Warming up to the couple, Bon Jovi said, “It is an accelerated version of what I went through 40 years ago, and I think, with the support of family around them, they’re gonna be great together.”

In June 2021, Brown and Jake, both 21 years old, first aroused rumours of a romance. In April 2023, they declared their engagement. The leader of Bon Jovi, who met Jake’s mother, Dorothea Bongiovi, in high school, had a long romantic relationship. Their family finds encouragement in the enduring love story of Bon Jovi and Dorothea, despite their disparate tempos.

With the older couple eloping in Las Vegas in 1989 after spending close to ten years together, it appears like Brown and Jake are going at a faster speed than Bon Jovi and Dorothea.

“She sat next to me in history class,” Bon Jovi recounted with fondness as he thought back on their voyage. We went on the road together since we are from the same location, we are the same age and she was with me when I had less than zero.”

As demonstrated by Brown’s recent Instagram Stories, which honoured their third anniversary with heartfelt remarks and pictures of their time together, the younger Bongiovis’ romance is still going strong.
