Juliano Krue Valdi Will Play Young Micheal Jackson in Biopic, ‘Micheal’

A mere seven days following the official announcement of the anticipated release date, set for 18th April 2025, for the forthcoming Michael Jackson biopic, the creative team responsible for bringing the iconic figure to the big screen has successfully chosen the actor who will portray the young King of Pop.

Juliano Krue Valdi, a talented nine-year-old actor, has been chosen to embody the role of Michael Jackson during his formative years in the iconic Jackson 5. This legendary family band, responsible for timeless hits like ‘I’ll Be There’, ‘ABC’, and ‘I Want You Back’, will see Valdi bring his skills to the portrayal of the young King of Pop.

Valdi has already gained recognition on various social media platforms for his remarkable Michael Jackson impersonations, with videos showcasing his flawless execution of the moonwalk amassing thousands of likes and views.

“This opportunity is really important to me because Michael Jackson is the King of Pop, and he is very special in my heart. I’ve been dancing to his songs for five years now,” Valdi said in a statement. “He makes me feel really special and makes me feel good about myself. I love the energy of Michael Jackson.”

The upcoming biopic, titled ‘Michael’, is set to be directed by Antoine Fuqua, the acclaimed filmmaker known for his work on the Oscar-winning ‘Training Day’ and the ‘Emancipation’, starring Will Smith.

The highly anticipated biopic ‘Michael’ also brings together a team of renowned producers, counting Graham King, the acclaimed producer behind the Oscar-winning ‘Bohemian Rhapsody,’ and John Branca and John McClain, who serve as co-executors of Michael Jackson’s estate.
