Justin Bieber has spoken openly about his ongoing mental health struggles, sharing a raw and reflective post on Instagram this week. In the message, the Canadian singer admitted that he was dealing with unresolved anger and feelings of brokenness, saying he knew he had “anger issues” and was tired of trying to fix himself just to meet others' expectations.
He expressed frustration, noting that throughout his life he had attempted to grow in the ways people told him he should, but those efforts only left him more exhausted and angry. Bieber added that the more he tried to change, the more self-centred he became—a cycle that he found increasingly draining.
The pop star, who has become more vocal about his Christian faith in recent years, said that his belief in Jesus was the one thing that kept him focused on living a life beyond himself. He admitted feeling mentally worn out from constantly thinking about his own struggles, and asked others if they felt the same.

Bieber’s post is part of a series of introspective messages he has shared in recent months. He had previously posted that he “hated” himself when he felt inauthentic, acknowledging that societal pressure often made him feel inadequate. In that message, he reminded followers that many people feel the same, adding that he often felt like a fraud, especially when praised. He explained that such compliments made him feel deceptive, as if others didn’t truly know his inner thoughts or flaws.
These admissions follow a string of public concerns about Bieber’s well-being. Earlier this year, a video of him rapping about being high prompted speculation, though his representatives quickly denied any dr*g-related issues, calling the rumours “false” and “harmful”. His team also refuted reports claiming he was more than $20 million in debt, labelling the stories as “ill-informed” and “clickbait stupidity”.
Bieber Clears Rumours and Teases Musical Comeback
In May, Bieber addressed speculation linking him to allegations against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. Through a representative, he clarified that he was not one of Combs’ victims and stated that focusing on unfounded rumours only distracted from the real survivors seeking justice.
Despite the challenges, there are signs that Bieber may be preparing for a musical return. He has reportedly been working on new material with Mk.gee and was seen in the studio earlier this year, raising anticipation for his first album since 2021’s ‘Justice’.
