Timberlake’s announcement comes after January’s reveal of his forthcoming album, where he treated fans to a preview with the release of ‘Selfish’. The song, a mid-tempo ballad infused with R&B elements reminiscent of his earlier work, showcases Timberlake’s vulnerable side as he explores the complexities of intense love and envy.

In an interview with Apple Music, Timberlake hinted at the album’s diverse range of tracks, describing them as “incredibly honest,” “introspective,” and “f—ing fun.” With anticipation building for his first LP in six years, Timberlake continues to captivate audiences with his soulful storytelling and musical prowess.

Timberlake elaborated on his creative process, delving into how his personal history served as a wellspring of inspiration for his forthcoming album. Reflecting on this introspective journey, he shared, “I was able, on some of the songs, to look back at the past and have a genuine, unfiltered perspective of what transpired. It’s often said that truth is subjective and shaped by individual viewpoints.

“However, I found myself delving deeper, beyond mere perception, to truly analyse and articulate my own understanding of those experiences. It’s a level of introspection and expression that, I must admit, I haven’t explored to this extent before,” he continued.
