Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s romance is one of a kind. The couple began dating in 2011, and after welcoming their first child, North West, they got engaged in 2013. The following year, they married in a private ceremony with 200 guests. Despite their ups and downs and eventual split, Kanye was deeply devoted to Kim. He once described his love for her as uncontrollable, expressing his desire for her to always be by his side.
In a 2013 radio interview with ‘Ryan Seacrest’, Kanye confessed, “I just knew I wanted her to be my girl for a long time. I remember I saw a picture of her and Paris Hilton, and I remember telling my boy, ‘Have you seen that girl Kim Kar-dijon?'” At that time, Kim was Paris Hilton’s stylist, and the photo Kanye referred to was taken in 2006.

Although they officially became a couple in 2012, Kanye had been infatuated with Kim while she initially considered him just a friend. In 2011, Kim was married to NBA player Kris Humphries. Kanye’s song ‘Cold’ includes the lyrics, “And I’ll admit, I had fell in love with Kim / Around the same time she had fell in love with him,” referring to Kris.
Kim later admitted in an interview that she regretted her marriage to Humphries, recounting a moment when Kanye saw her wedding ring and looked heartbroken. Eventually, Kim realized her feelings for Kanye, leading to their marriage and four children. Despite their eventual separation, Kanye’s devotion to Kim was evident throughout their relationship.
