Kate Hudson Jokes Her Family Might Disown Her, Find Out Why

Hollywood star Kate Hudson has an ultimate dream that might cause a stir in her family. In a recent interview, the Oscar-nominated actress revealed her desire to portray Fleetwood Mac’s iconic singer, Stevie Nicks, in a biopic. 

While Hudson is passionate about the role, she humorously mentioned that her family might disown her if she ever got the chance to play Stevie, fearing she might immerse herself too deeply into the character.

The recent surge in musical biopics, like ‘Rocketman’ (Elton John), ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ (Freddie Mercury), and ‘Back to Black’ (Amy Winehouse), has left fans anticipating a Stevie Nicks film. Despite ongoing discussions and Lindsay Lohan being rumoured for the role in 2011, no project has materialized, partly due to Nicks herself dismissing the rumours.

Hudson’s connection to rock music deepens her admiration for Nicks. She expressed, “For all girls who love rock, Stevie’s just our number one. Her life experience and the music of Fleetwood Mac, especially her relationship with Lindsey Buckingham, is the ultimate rock and roll story.”

Though it remains uncertain if Hudson will achieve her dream role, it’s clear why she and other actors would be eager to portray the legendary Stevie Nicks. Nicks, celebrated for her work with Fleetwood Mac and as a solo artist, has inspired countless musicians and singer-songwriters, including Adele, Sheryl Crow, and Harry Styles. 

Inducted twice into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Nicks continues to captivate audiences with her timeless music and influence in the industry.
