When Kate Middleton and Prince William went shopping over the weekend, she appeared on camera for the first time in months.
On 18th March, TMZ published a video of the couple's Saturday visit to Windsor Farm Shop. The 40-second video features Prince William, 41, and Princess Kate, 42, both of whom are carrying shopping bags while dressed casually. Princess Kate can be seen strolling through the parking lot with her husband, grinning and chatting.
Princess Kate hasn't been seen in public since Kensington Palace revealed her "planned abdominal surgery" on 16th January.

Princess Kate appeared "happy, relaxed, and healthy" during the weekend visit to Windsor Farm Shop. The couple allegedly made a Saturday visit to the neighbourhood shop, which is only a mile from their Adelaide Cottage home.
The Sun was told by an eyewitness that "Kate was out shopping with William, and she looked happy and well." Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, did not accompany their parents on the shopping trip, but according to The Sun, the couple spent some of the weekend watching their kids play sports.

According to Kensington Palace's original statement regarding Princess Kate's surgery, the couple has prioritized keeping their kids' sense of normalcy. Twice in the past few weeks, she has been spotted driving: first on 4th March with her mother Carole Middleton and then last Monday with Prince William.
Princess Kate's social media statement addressing "any confusion" surrounding her Mother's Day photo, which was removed by multiple international photo agencies due to allegations of manipulation, was released at the same time as her outing.

A palace insider downplayed the incident, but public relations and crisis communications specialist Mark Borkowski, who is based in London, voiced concerns to PEOPLE, speculating that the palace's attempt to project a new image might have made things worse.
The Sunday Times reported that there are hints Princess Kate might take care of her health when she starts doing public appearances again. According to people close to Kate and Prince William, they might decide when and how to disclose information regarding her procedure and convalescence.
