Kate Middleton is getting ready for her third annual Christmas concert and ensuring that her special guests are prepared as well! A new video shared on Prince William and Princess Kate's social media accounts, just a day before the 'Together at Christmas' carol service at Westminster Abbey, captures the excitement of some lucky attendees receiving their invitations.
In the video, guests are seen opening and reading their invitations, which bear Kate's royal cypher – a "C" for "Catherine" (her full name) topped with a crown. The invitations also provide an essential detail: the event's dress code, which, consistent with previous years, is "smart (no hats)."

Excited attendees showcased their invitation cards in special spots, like on the fridge (held in place with dinosaur magnets for two youngsters!) or nestled in a Christmas tree.
This year's gathering is aligned with Princess Kate's ‘Shaping Us’ campaign, centred on her commitment to aiding children in the early stages of their lives. The palace noted that the event is a tribute to "thank all those who work to support babies, young children, and families in our communities across the U.K. and a celebration of the golden opportunity that the birth of a new baby brings."

In line with the theme for this year, it's anticipated that Princess Kate will be accompanied by her three children. While Prince George (10) and Princess Charlotte (8) attended the carol concert with their parents last year, this would mark 5-year-old Prince Louis' inaugural attendance if he joins on Friday.
What More in The Christmas Concert?
The Christmas concert promises enchanting performances from Westminster Abbey's choir, Adam Lambert, Beverley Knight and more, along with readings by special guests, including Prince William!

The festivities will be showcased in the broadcast titled ‘Royal Carols: Together At Christmas,’ airing on ITV1 and ITV X on Christmas Eve. The televised event will not only include the Christmas concert but also feature additional content. This includes an introduction by Princess Kate, films emphasizing the significance of early childhood, and celebrations acknowledging the contributions made by individuals in our communities to support the youngest members of society during those crucial early years.

The initial Christmas concert hosted by Kate took place at Westminster Abbey on 8th December 2021. The royal surprised viewers with her debut public piano performance, accompanying Tom Walker as he sang ‘For Those Who Can't Be Here.’
While the Princess of Wales did not play the piano at the show on 15th December 2022, the festive event retained its purpose of uniting members of the royal family with charity staff, community volunteers, frontline workers, military personnel, and others to "celebrate the joy that human connection can bring," as stated by Buckingham Palace.
