Katy Perry Unveils Single ‘Woman’s World’ From New Album: ‘Get Ready to Pop Off’

After hosting exclusive listening sessions for her highly anticipated sixth album, Katy Perry has officially announced the release of its first single, ‘Woman’s World’. The pop sensation has scheduled the single to drop next month, generating excitement among her fans.

The release of ‘Woman’s World’ is set for July 11, with the official music video premiering the following day. Perry has also unveiled the single’s cover art, captured by photographer Jack Bridgland, which features her in striking metallic armour-like pants and a bikini top. To further build anticipation, Perry teased a snippet of the song on TikTok, where she sang along to the lyrics in a selfie-style video.

Details about her forthcoming sixth album remain under wraps, including its title and release date. This new project comes nearly four years after her previous album, ‘Smile’, which was released in August. ‘Smile’ produced singles like ‘Daisies’ and the title track but didn’t perform as well as her earlier work, debuting at No. 5 on the Billboard 200. 

Since then, Perry has captivated audiences with her Las Vegas residency, ‘Play’, which ran from 2021 to 2023. The final performance hinted at her next musical chapter with the message “See you next year” displayed on a screen.

Outside of her music career, Perry has been a prominent judge on ‘American Idol’ for seven seasons. 

In February, she announced that the 22nd season would be her last, concluding her time on the show in May. Additionally, Perry made headlines in September when she sold her music catalogue for $255 million to Litmus Music, a company backed by Carlyle and also home to Keith Urban’s master recordings.

With ‘Woman’s World’, Perry aims to kick off a new era, promising fans an exhilarating return to the pop music scene. As anticipation builds, fans eagerly await more details about her upcoming album and the creative direction she will take in this next phase of her career.
