Keanu Reeves Reveals Dramatic Crew Cut for New Movie, ‘Outcome’

For his part in the upcoming movie ‘Outcome,’ which stars Jonah Hill, actor Keanu Reeves recently had a dramatic hair makeover.

Reeves, who is well-known for his characteristic shoulder-length lob, shocked fans by revealing a shorter hairstyle that fit his dark comedy character. The 59-year-old actor’s salt-and-pepper beard also looked cropped as he wore a traditional crew cut on set.

This new look is very different from the flowing locks he’s been associated with, especially in his role in the ‘John Wick’ franchise, even though it’s not his shortest hairstyle (he famously sported a full buzz cut for ‘The Matrix Resurrections’).

Reeves debuted the new hairstyle earlier this month, as seen by an Instagram photo that he posted of himself alongside Rob Lowe and his family at a party with girlfriend Alexandra Grant and a slightly shaggy crew cut.

Observers noted the shift immediately, with one remarking on Reeves’ youthful appearance. The actor’s long hair was last seen on the ‘Good Fortune’ set on 29th February and at the Saturn Awards on 4th February.

Reeves plays Reef in Hill’s film ‘Outcome,’ which is about a troubled Hollywood star who is forced to face his past after being blackmailed with an enigmatic video clip. This past week, Apple Original Films revealed that Cameron Diaz is in final negotiations to star alongside Reeves and Hill.

This will be Diaz and Reeves’ second project together since 1996’s ‘Feeling Minnesota.’
