In an interview with Rolling Stone, the TV personality candidly addressed the incident that stirred up considerable backlash, involving remarks she made about the Latino population in the United States.

Kelly Osbourne acknowledged the gravity of the situation, describing it as the "worst thing" she has ever done.

Upon witnessing the clip of her past comments gain traction once more on TikTok, Kelly Osbourne expressed a visceral reaction, stating, "Oh my God, I died." This acknowledgement reflects a heightened awareness on her part regarding the impact of her past words and the renewed scrutiny brought about by the viral resurgence of the incident.

While TikTok users injected a comedic twist by incorporating the audio into their content, Kelly Osbourne, in contrast, openly conveyed her remorse for the controversial incident. “It hurt a lot of people, and that to me, is by far the worst thing I’ve ever done,” she told the magazine. “I realised that I’m not great on live TV and that words are so powerful. And to be labelled as something you’re not is really difficult. But it happened. There’s nothing I can do.”

After the passage of several years, Rolling Stone revisited the controversial incident with Kelly Osbourne, seeking clarification on the meaning behind her resurfaced viral comment. When prompted to expound on the comment, Kelly offered a thoughtful response, stating, "I feel very strongly that Latin American culture is the backbone of America. I believe that Latin Americans are the hardest-working people you will ever meet."
