Kesha Changes ‘TikTok’ Lyrics to “To F*** P Diddy” in Surprise Coachella 2024 Performance

Reneé Rapp surprised Coachella-goers on Sunday by bringing Kesha on stage for an unexpected performance of her 2010 hit ‘TikTok,’ known for its iconic lyric “Wake up in the mornin’ feelin’ like P Diddy.”

However, Kesha took the opportunity to make a bold statement in light of recent allegations against the music mogul. Instead of the original lyric, she sang, “Wake up in the morning like f*** P Diddy” and both Rapp and Kesha raised their middle fingers skyward during the performance.

This change in lyrics follows Kesha’s previous alteration of the song in November, when she sang, “Wake up in the morning feeling just like me,” at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. These modifications come in the wake of allegations made by Cassie Ventura against Combs, accusing him of over a decade’s worth of physical and s*xual abuse.

Ventura settled her lawsuit against Diddy shortly after making these claims. However, the situation has only intensified for Diddy in the months that followed, with growing legal troubles and serious allegations surfacing against the singer and entrepreneur.

Recent months have seen Diddy facing a series of lawsuits alleging assault, gang r*pe and s*x trafficking. Just last month, his Miami and Los Angeles residences were raided by Homeland Security, prompting his lawyer, Aaron Dyers, to criticize the raids as a “gross overuse of military-level force.”

Dyers further stated, “There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated.”

Despite these allegations, Diddy has vehemently denied all claims and has yet to face any charges in connection with the ongoing investigations.
