Kim Kardashian Opens Up About Dating Janet Jackson’s Nephew in High School

Kim Kardashian is reflecting on a previous romance with a well-known acquaintance.

As she and her guests boarded her private aircraft to attend Janet Jackson’s concert, she revealed a personal connection to the singer during an episode of ‘The Kardashians’.  Kim revealed that Janet has a particular place in her heart for a reason other than music while wearing the same attire that Jackson wore in the ‘If’ music video. 

She disclosed that beginning in junior high, she dated TJ Jackson, Janet’s nephew, for a number of years.  She was also able to enjoy game evenings and other Jackson family customs because of their closeness.

Kim recalled playing a game of Pictionary with the whole Jackson family and acknowledged that she was really anxious, especially with Janet present.  The word was actually an angel, but in her excitement, she drew a right angle instead.  Later, when Jermaine Jackson reassured her that they would still give her the point, she felt like she wanted to vanish out of shame.

 Over the years, she has continued to admire Janet Jackson.  She honoured the singer in 2024 by attending a performance in Palm Springs dressed just as the singer from the ‘If’ music video.  To commemorate Jackson’s 55th birthday, she paid $25,000 for the personalized look at an auction in 2021.
