Kim Kardashian Pays Tribute to Late Aunt Karen Houghton on Instagram
After Kris Jenner revealed her aunt Karen Houghton’s passing earlier this week, Kim Kardashian pays tribute to her.
The 43-year-old reality star honoured her aunt on 21st March with a poignant Instagram post that featured a collection of pictures that captured special times they had together. The message, which was displayed as a carousel, started with a picture of Kim and Houghton from their early years.
Kim continued the tribute by posting pictures of Houghton sitting between her and her sister, Kourtney Kardashian, along with candids of the two of them wearing identical red dresses.
Throwback images of Houghton with other family members, such as Kim Kardashian’s late father, Robert Kardashian Sr., and Kris Jenner’s mother, MJ Shannon, were also included in the memorial.
Her sister Houghton was praised by Kris Jenner for being “beautiful inside and out,” emphasising her humour, generosity and sensitivity in her first statement following her death. Jenner highlighted the value of showing affection to those you care about while highlighting how short life is.
After Kim paid tribute to her aunt, Kourtney Kardashian also sent her condolences, and Paris Hilton, a close friend of the Kardashian-Jenner family, also posted a condolence message in the post’s comments area.
