‘Kinds of Kindness’ Trailer: Watch Emma Stone and Willem Dafoe Give Fans What They Want

The much-anticipated trailer for ‘Kinds of Kindness’ has finally dropped and it’s already got fans buzzing with excitement as it reunites some of their favourite stars. Emma Stone and Willem Dafoe, known for their stellar performances in ‘The Favourite’ and ‘Poor Things,’ team up once again for another unique cinematic experience under the direction of Yorgos Lanthimos.

Set to the iconic tune of Eurythmics’ ‘Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This),’ the trailer opens with Stone’s character behind the wheel of a sleek sports car, setting the scene for what promises to be a captivating journey. “This is it—the moment of truth. Isn’t it wonderful?” she narrates, hinting at the intriguing narrative that awaits.

The trailer offers glimpses of the film’s enigmatic storyline, including a scene of Stone dancing while Margaret Qualley delivers a sharp slap to Jesse Plemons. Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, who co-wrote the script with Efthimis Filippou, ‘Kinds of Kindness’ is described as a triptych fable, exploring three distinct tales. The synopsis teases a story about a man seeking control over his life, a policeman faced with a transformed wife, and a woman on a quest to find a unique individual destined for greatness.

Following the success of ‘Poor Things,’ which received four Oscars, ‘Kinds of Kindness’ takes audiences on a journey across the United States, with Stone leading a star-studded cast. Alongside Stone and Dafoe, the film features Jesse Plemons, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie and Hunter Schafer in pivotal roles.

Despite keeping much of the storyline under wraps until now, the trailer offers a glimpse into the world of ‘Kinds of Kindness,’ leaving fans eager for more. The film is scheduled for release on 28th June 28 2024.
