Kit Harington Recites Jon Snow’s Iconic Line in New ‘Game of Thrones’ Mobile Game Ad

In a captivating new ad for ‘Game of Thrones: Legends’ RPG, Kit Harington trades his iconic Westeros attire for a modern look as he steps into a dimly lit bar. The atmosphere shifts dramatically as Harington delivers his legendary line, “Winter is coming,” through a powerful voiceover, setting the stage for an immersive gaming experience.

As Harington enters the bar, a woman greets him warmly, saying, “Welcome Mr. Harington.” He then glances at her necklace, adorned with colourful jewels each bearing a different symbol, and declares, “I’m ready to forge my own destiny, compose my strategy, refine my tactics.” His resolve is clear: “I’ll solve every puzzle, overcome every challenge to defeat the deadliest threat we’ve ever faced — the Long Night.”

The ad features Harington walking through the pub, where he encounters various patrons who subtly reference the ‘Game of Thrones’ universe. Among them are two blonde-haired guests, possibly nodding to the Targaryens, and an older woman who transforms into a White Walker, freezing the surroundings as her eyes turn blue.

Taking a seat at the bar, Harington surveys the area, which includes portraits of characters from the game. He vows to “pull together the greatest heroes of Westeros to fight for my house” while playing ‘Game of Thrones: Legends’ RPG. The scene humorously unfolds when a woman sits next to him, attempting to recite the iconic line, “You know nothing.” Harington quickly interjects with a “Don’t do it,” but she finishes with, “You know nothing Jon Snow!”—a famous quote from Ygritte, played by Rose Leslie in the HBO series.

The game features beloved characters such as Rhaenyra Targaryen (portrayed by Emma D’Arcy in ‘House of the Dragon’, Arya Stark (Maisie Williams), The Hound (Rory McCann), Drogon, Ghost, and Ser Criston Cole (Fabian Frankel). Harington praised the game’s dedication to the franchise, stating, “The creativity and care taken to create ‘Game of Thrones: Legends’ is obvious and it feels completely natural to jump back into Westeros for this game.

This is a true love letter to the fans, of whom the franchise would be nothing without, and I’m honoured to pay tribute to them in this new campaign.”
