Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky joined forces despite their separation to surprise their youngest daughter with a new car.

The reality TV stars, who announced their separation last summer, celebrated their daughter Portia’s 16th birthday by presenting her with a brand-new car. Portia’s emotional reaction was captured by her sister Sophia in a TikTok video, where both parents were seen alongside her.

In the video, Richards and Umansky playfully led Portia to the car with a bow on top, prompting her shocked and tearful response upon realizing it was hers. They hugged her affectionately as she stood next to her “new Porsche,” as mentioned in the video.

Another TikTok showed Portia enjoying her new wheels with her sisters and mom in the backseat, while Umansky rode up front.

Despite the excitement, Portia’s journey to full driving privileges is ongoing, as revealed in Sophia’s vlog of their trip to the DMV for her driver’s license test. Though she passed the behind-the-wheel exam, Portia still had to wait a bit longer due to the requirements of her learner’s permit.

Portia, the youngest Umansky sibling, celebrated her 16th birthday in March with both parents, marking a poignant reunion for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and her ex. Amid rumours, it was confirmed last July that Richards and Umansky were separated, although they continued living together.

“They remain amicable as they figure out what’s next for them and their family,” a source close to the couple shared with PEOPLE at the time. The couple later clarified their situation in a joint Instagram statement, affirming their love and respect for each other despite the challenges they faced in their marriage.
