Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars Deliver Beautiful Cover of ‘California Dreamin” at 2025 Grammys

Following the terrible wildfires, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars paid homage to Los Angeles with a moving performance at the 2025 Grammy Awards. In a solemn and poignant performance, the pair sang

‘California Dreamin’ a traditional folk rock ballad by The Mamas and The Papas. During this year’s awards show, which was redesigned after the flames, the two artists paid tribute to the city while wearing beige ensembles.

Both Gaga and Mars were nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Song of the Year for their popular song ‘Die With a Smile.’ A day following the FireAid benefit performance, where Gaga also sang and shared her hope that people would unite in such trying times, the tribute continued.

Beginning in early January, the wildfires devastated much of Los Angeles and claimed many lives. To help those affected, the Recording Academy and MusiCares organized the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort, which raised millions of dollars.

Several performances centred on the destruction caused by the catastrophe and paying tribute to the victims were part of the Grammys 2025 program, which was televised live from the Crypto.com Arena.
