The upcoming DC sequel, ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’, will introduce a significant alteration to Lady Gaga’s portrayal of Harley Quinn. With only one DC film set for release this year, ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ is generating anticipation, scheduled to hit theatres in just five months.

While she couldn’t disclose spoilers, Lady Gaga hinted at a fresh interpretation of the character, stating, “My version of Harley Quinn is Lee, and in many ways, I think this will be a very different Lee for people and I’m excited for people to see the story we want to tell.”

The decision to rename Harley Quinn as Lee raises questions about the creative direction.
