Lenny Kravitz stole the spotlight at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards, where the 59-year-old musician was honoured with the ‘Music Icon Award’ and slated to perform a medley of hits from his legendary catalogue. Ahead of his significant stage appearance, Kravitz made a bold fashion statement on the red carpet.
The rocker opted for a suit featuring a blazer with dramatic shoulders and only one sleeve, skipping the shirt underneath. Adding to his rock star ensemble, Kravitz accessorized with a chainmail necklace and oversized sunglasses, exuding his signature effortlessly cool style.
This red carpet choice echoed his previous eye-catching ensembles, such as his appearance at the 2024 Critics’ Choice Awards where he showcased a fit physique in a custom Laquan Smith double-breasted jacket with a cutout design. Kravitz has maintained his unique style, seen in his Golden Globes outfit the week prior—a chest-baring Alexander McQueen jumpsuit.
Explaining his preference for minimalism, he shared with KTLA 5, “I don’t have many shirts. You know, I live in the Bahamas. I keep it kind of basic.”

Despite his current trademark style, Kravitz reminisced about various iconic looks in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, including his memorable “big scarf moment” in 2012. Reflecting on the incident, he humorously mentioned, “It has become the meme and symbol and representation of cold weather coming.”
