Lewis Capaldi Has Announced a Massive Concert in Cardiff

Lewis Capaldi has announced a huge summer performance in Cardiff. On July 20, the singer-songwriter will perform as part of The Bay Series at Alexandra Head in Cardiff Bay. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on 4th February.

The performance will take place in the midst of a busy summer tour that will see him perform at Manchester Castlefield Bowl, as well as dates in Glasgow and Ireland, before concluding with two nights at The O2 in London.

He’ll also be performing with Muse and Kasabian at this year’s Isle Of Wight Festival in June. Meanwhile, Bastille frontman Dan Smith recently revealed that he has been writing with Capaldi as the latter continues work on his second album.

Capaldi’s debut album, ‘Divinely Uninspired To A Heavenly Extent,’ was released in 2019. He declared at the start of 2021 that he would be taking a hiatus from social media in order to work on finishing the follow-up to his debut album.

“I did some writing with [Capaldi] and it was really great to see him,” Smith said.

“Obviously he has had the most amazing time and I think he is just taking his time writing lots of music and living his life.”

Smith continued: “We fucking love Lewis and we’re so proud of everything he’s done all over the world. It’s exciting to see what he’s going to do next.”
