The couple describes the experience of being surrounded by the Invictus spirit, Canadian hospitality and cultural richness in Whistler and Vancouver. Grateful for the memorable visit, they eagerly anticipate their return. The dinner, hosted at the Vancouver Convention Centre, marked the culmination of the 2025 Invictus Games countdown festivities. Attendees included government representatives, Four Host First Nations members, Invictus Games Foundation representatives, sponsors and celebrity guests like Michael Bublé and Luisana Lopilato.

During the event, Michael Bublé serenaded the couple with a song he wrote, honouring Prince Harry as a visionary and sending healing wishes to King Charles, recently diagnosed with cancer. Meghan and Harry received a thoughtful gift of blankets for their children from the Salish people.

Prince Harry, actively participating in the Winter Training Camp from 14th February to 16th February, immersed himself in new winter sports to be introduced at the 2025 Invictus Games. The itinerary included sit-skiing, a daring skeleton run reaching speeds of over 60 mph and trying wheelchair curling with Michael Bublé.

The Duke of Sussex expressed gratitude for the Invictus community’s resilience and emphasized the excitement building up as the event approaches its 10th anniversary in 2024. Dominic Reid OBE, CEO of the Invictus Games Foundation, praised Prince Harry’s unwavering commitment and advocacy, highlighting his invaluable support over the past decade.
