Luca Guadagnino is said to be in talks to direct ‘Artificial’, a project currently being developed by Amazon MGM Studios. While specific plot details remain under wraps, the film is being described as a comedic drama set against the backdrop of artificial intelligence.
The script was written by Simon Rich, who is also producing the film alongside David Heyman and Jeffrey Clifford of Heyday Films. Jennifer Fox is also said to be in talks to join as a producer.
This marks another collaboration between Guadagnino and Amazon MGM Studios. He previously directed ‘After the Hunt’, featuring Julia Roberts, Andrew Garfield, and Ayo Edebiri, which is scheduled for theatrical release on 10 October. The studio also distributed his film ‘Challengers’ last year, starring Zendaya, Mike Faist, and Josh O’Connor.
