The rapper recently delivered a twangy cover of The Chicks' 1998 hit ‘There’s Your Trouble’ at Spotify House during a major music event. This cover is now available for streaming on Spotify as part of a special edition of Spotify Singles.
"My dad used to play this Chicks album 24/7," MGK remarked. "Fun tribute to him and to great songwriting. Thanks, Nashville."

In addition to this cover, the rapper has been exploring country music further. Recently, he shared a cover of Zach Bryan's "Sun to Me" and premiered the music video for his new duet ‘Lonely Road’ with Jelly Roll. This track samples John Denver's iconic "Country Roads, Take Me Home."
The music video for "Lonely Road" features MGK’s partner Megan Fox, who drew attention with her visible baby bump. In the video, Fox is shown carrying a baby girl while visiting MGK in jail.
The couple shared a joint Instagram post detailing their lengthy and challenging journey to complete the song. "We worked on 'Lonely Road' for 2 years, 8 different studios, 4 different countries, changed the key 4 times, and this Friday you’ll hear we finally got it right," they noted while sharing a teaser clip.
MGK also expressed his appreciation for Jelly Roll in another post, writing, "Jelly, you are a living breathing badass and a kindred soul who has shown me the path of redemption and what it looks like to believe in yourself against all odds."
