In an unprecedented move, Madonna, the iconic pop superstar, announced a monumental free concert at Copacabana Beach as the grand finale of her Celebration Tour. This historic event attracted an astounding 1.6 million fans, setting a new record for the largest audience at a stand-alone concert by any artist.

Despite Copacabana Beach being renowned for its massive New Year’s Eve gatherings, Madonna’s concert surpassed all previous records, including those set by the Rolling Stones. Live Nation confirmed this remarkable achievement on X, highlighting the magnitude of Madonna’s influence and popularity.

During the electrifying show, Madonna treated her fans to a mesmerising performance, showcasing a repertoire of her greatest hits like ‘Like A Virgin’, ‘Like A Prayer’, and ‘Into The Groove’. The evening also featured special guest appearances, with Pablo Vittar joining Madonna on stage for 

Music and Brazilian sensation Anitta made a memorable appearance during Vogue. Anitta expressed her excitement and gratitude for being part of this iconic moment on her Instagram Stories, reflecting the collective thrill experienced by both performers and fans alike.
