Margot Robbie and Emily Blunt Stun in Almost Identical Dresses at Governors Awards

Margot Robbie and Emily Blunt showcased their style prowess at the 14th Governors Awards, joining a star-studded lineup celebrating the likes of Angela Bassett, Mel Brooks and editor Carol Littleton, who were honoured with Oscars. Michelle Satter, the founding director of Sundance Institute’s Feature Film Program, also received the prestigious Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award.

Breaking away from her usual Barbie-inspired fashion, 33-year-old Robbie stunned in a long black gown adorned with a silver-embellished plunging neckline and two waist cutouts. The actress complemented her red carpet look with Kwiat jewels and a pair of Fred Leighton 1950s diamond and platinum waterfall earrings.

Meanwhile, 40-year-old Blunt opted for a sleeveless deep V-neck gown from Miu Miu, featuring a glittery silver design at its centre. She accessorized with matching Tiffany jewels, and her light brown locks parted to one side with loose waves, adding an extra touch of glamour.

Robbie and Blunt also graced the 2024 Golden Globes, each making their fashion statement. Blunt, nominated for her role in ‘Oppenheimer,’ donned a gold metallic dress with stunning Tiffany & Co. jewels intricately sewn into her hair. Accompanied by her husband, John Krasinski, who sported a bold satiny red Dolce & Gabbana suit, the couple turned heads on the red carpet.

Meanwhile, Robbie, also a nominee, stole the spotlight in a hot pink sequin Giorgio Armani Privé gown inspired by the 1977 SuperStar Barbie, accentuated by over $3 million worth of Lorraine Schwartz jewellery.

Post-Globes, Robbie continued her fashion reign at an afterparty at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, donning a black version of her sequin-studded dress with a V-neck cut, maintaining her chic and glamorous presence throughout the night.
