Beatlemania is set to return to OTT with a brand-new documentary produced by Martin Scorsese. The film, titled ‘Beatles ’64’, will explore the band’s historic introduction to the U.S. in 1964. Directed by David Tedeschi, the documentary follows The Beatles’ electrifying arrival in America, capturing the moment they became global sensations.
‘Beatles ’64’ will include restored footage from the legendary documentarians Albert and David Maysles, showing the band’s iconic live performances on ‘The Ed Sullivan’ Show and at the Washington, D.C. Coliseum.

The footage has been restored in 4K by Park Road Post and demixed by WingNut Films, with sound remixed by Giles Martin. This rare look behind the scenes will delve into the camaraderie between John, Paul, George, and Ringo as they navigated their meteoric rise to fame.
Executive producers of the documentary include Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Olivia Harrison, and Sean Ono Lennon, alongside Margaret Bodde, Jonathan Clyde, Mikaela Beardsley, Jeff Jones, and Rick Yorn. Their collective efforts bring a new perspective to this iconic moment in music history.
In addition to the documentary, seven classic American Beatles albums will be released globally. These albums, cut from the original mono master tapes on 180-gram audiophile vinyl, include Meet ‘The Beatles!’ and ‘A Hard Day’s Night’, among others, with a special box set also available for fans.
The documentary offers never-before-seen footage of The Beatles’ legendary arrival at John F. Kennedy International Airport and their unforgettable performance to 73 million viewers on ‘The Ed Sullivan’ Show, solidifying their status as the most influential band of all time.
