'Masters Of The Air': Will There Be a Season 2?

As the eagerly anticipated ninth and final episode of 'Masters Of The Air' approaches its release date tomorrow, fans are left wondering: will there be a second season?

Based on Donald L. Miller's 2007 book of the same name, this miniseries chronicles the exploits of the 100th Bomb Group, famously known as the Bloody Hundredth, under the Eighth Air Force during World War II. Apple TV+ viewers can catch the climactic conclusion on 15th March.

Produced by Apple Studios, 'Masters Of The Air' boasts a stellar cast of rising talents, including Austin Butler, Callum Turner, Anthony Boyle, Barry Keoghan, Isabel May, Raff Law and Ncuti Gatwa.

Positioned as a companion piece to the acclaimed 'Band Of Brothers' (2001) and 'The Pacific' (2010), the series shares a common thread behind the scenes, with Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg serving as producers for all three.

Each production delves into different facets of World War II, with 'Band Of Brothers' focusing on the Easy Company parachute infantry regiment, The Pacific highlighting the Marine Corp's actions and 'Masters Of The Air' exploring the daring bombing missions of the 100th Bomb Group over Germany and beyond.

But Will There be a Second Season of 'Masters Of The Air'?

Considering the show's source material from Miller's book and the factual backdrop of its subject matter, the prospect of continuing the series beyond its initial run poses questions. While Apple Studios has yet to confirm any details regarding a potential renewal, the series has garnered positive acclaim from both audiences and critics alike.

With this in mind, there may be room for creators John Shiban and John Orloff to further expand the show's narrative in the future.
