According to the hospital, 'Literally Healing' is a cutting-edge reading program that gives over 65,000 books to CHLA families each year, encouraging literacy and providing therapeutic support. Meghan's participation in the #MakeMarchMatter campaign enhanced the kids' learning through interesting activities connected to the books she read.
Thanking Meghan for her contribution to #MakeMarchMatter and for giving the young patients such a special experience, CHLA expressed gratitude. The visit, which had been kept quiet at first, was revealed a month later and became well-known when Princess Kate disclosed that she had been diagnosed with cancer.
