Meghan Trainor on Getting Fit For Tour: “I Want to Feel Good”

Pop star Meghan Trainor is back in the spotlight with a new single, ‘Been Like This’, featuring the legendary T-Pain. This collaboration marks a significant return for Trainor, not only musically but also in terms of touring. A new album is set to be released alongside the single, paving the way for her first headlining tour in seven years, ‘The Timeless Tour’.

“I’m feeling fit. I’ve never been so fit,” she says, adding that her family is on board to help get herself tour-ready. “I already told my household. I was like, ‘I am training for the Olympics, okay?’ I want to train, eat clean and feel good when I’m dancing and singing. I don’t wanna be so winded, because right now, I’m winded,” she says.

Accompanying Trainor on this musical journey is her husband, Daryl Sabara, best known for his role in the ‘Spy Kids’ films. During the event, Trainor playfully joked that promoting her album might take precedence over celebrating T-Pain’s birthday, which falls on the same day as the album’s release.

However, she reassured fans that T-Pain understood, and he even showed his support by attending the event alongside his wife.

The couple’s genuine connection and playful banter were on display as they discussed personal topics. Sabara offered a humorous response when asked about their comfort in their own skin. He feels most comfortable “at night time,” he shared with a laugh, explaining that this is usually when they have time for themselves after putting their children to bed.
