Meryl Streep showcased her talent for mimicry at the AFI Life Achievement Award Gala, where she honoured her friend and co-star Nicole Kidman. The 74-year-old actress recounted a humorous incident from the set of ‘Big Little Lies’ during her speech, impersonating Kidman’s Australian accent while describing Kidman’s early morning ritual of skinny-dipping in the chilly Pacific Ocean. Streep entertained the audience with her rendition of Kidman’s nonchalant response, “‘Yeah, I love it. Oh yeah.’”

At the event, Nicole Kidman was celebrated by stars like Meryl Streep, Reese Witherspoon, Zac Efron, Naomi Watts, and Keith Urban, alongside her daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, who were there to support her. Kidman unintentionally revealed the renewal in November, hinting at more captivating episodes to come. Reese Witherspoon jokingly scolded Kidman for the slip-up, sparking playful banter between the co-stars captured in a Vanity Fair video.
