Heading this blockbuster is none other than Antoine Fuqua, the genius behind ‘Training Day.’ Adding a touch of familial authenticity, Jaafar Jackson, Michael’s nephew and son of Jermaine Jackson, steps into the iconic shoes of the ‘Thriller’ singer.

Fuqua, in an ‘Entertainment Weekly’ chat, couldn’t help but marvel at the uncanny resemblance and talent of Jaafar, emphasizing how he embodies the essence of Michael Jackson in every aspect.

The screenplay, penned by John Logan of ‘Gladiator’ fame, promises to be a rollercoaster of emotions as it unfolds the various chapters of Jackson’s life. Graham King, the powerhouse producer, discovered Jaafar and brought him to Fuqua’s attention, creating a synergy that left everyone in awe.

Behind the scenes, the production will be in capable hands, with Graham King, John Branca and John McClain, the co-executors of Jackson’s estate, joining forces. The biographical masterpiece aims to cover all facets of the legendary artist’s life, leaving no stone unturned.

However, the big question remains: will the film delve into the controversial aspects of Jackson’s life, particularly the allegations of child s*xual abuse that haunted him? The jury is still out on that one.

Jackson faced accusations toward the end of his life and posthumously, with a notable legal battle in 2003 that ended in acquittal in 2005. Even after his passing, allegations resurfaced in the 2019 HBO documentary ‘Leaving Neverland.’
