NewJeans May Tour and Release New Music

K-pop girl group NewJeans has hinted at the possibility of an upcoming tour and new music.
NewJeans recently attended the Billboard Women in Music 2024 event in Los Angeles, where they were awarded ‘Group of the Year.’ This marks the first time the award has been presented since 2015 when Fifth Harmony took home the trophy. Ahead of the event, the group was interviewed on the red carpet, where they were questioned about potential tour plans.

“Well, I mean we can’t give away too much,” said member Danielle. “I’ll just say that we’re getting ready and putting in a lot of practice.” She also expressed the group’s excitement to share new music with their fans, stating that they are “really looking forward to it”. At present, it remains unclear when NewJeans intends to release new music or embark on their first tour.
During the interview, Danielle from NewJeans also expressed her admiration for pop icon Kylie Minogue. “I still can’t believe Kylie Minogue was just standing here a moment ago. It’s surreal,” she said. “We are incredibly grateful.”

NewJeans’ most recent release was the song ‘Gods’, which served as the anthem for the 2023 League of Legends World Championship. Before that, they released their second mini-album ‘Get Up’, featuring hit tracks such as ‘ETA’ and ‘Super Shy’.
