Nicki Minaj’s Husband Kenneth Petty Cleared to Join ‘Pink Friday’ World Tour

Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty, who is currently on probation for not registering as a s*x offender, has been permitted to travel with her on her ‘Pink Friday’ World Tour. According to court records that PEOPLE was able to access, Petty, 46, was permitted by United States District Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald to go abroad between the 17th of April and the 14th of July.

As per the terms, Petty needs to give the probation officer advance notice of his trip schedule, provide an itinerary, and check in when he gets back to Los Angeles. Michael Goldstein, his attorney, said, “The court’s order speaks for itself.”

Petty requested the trip on 15th April stating that he needed to assist his wife while she was on tour, especially because of childcare obligations. Numerous nations are visited during the trip, including Austria, Ireland, Switzerland, Romania, Canada, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, France and the United Kingdom.

Interestingly, Petty’s probation officer did not object to the travel request, nor did the Government. In Oakland, California, on 1st March Minaj, 41, began her tour in support of her most recent album, ‘Pink Friday 2.’

Petty’s travel permit comes after a slew of court cases. He was found guilty of trying to rape someone in 1995 and spent four years in prison before becoming a level two sex offender in New York.

After moving from Miami to California in March 2020, he was arrested for not registering as a s*x offender, which added to his problems. He admitted to the crime, and in July 2022 he was given a sentence of home arrest, probation and a fine.
