The talented Irish actress is diving into a new hobby, thanks to her castmate Luke Newton, who plays her love interest on the hit Netflix series. Sharing her journey on Instagram, Coughlan posted a heartfelt carousel of photos captioned “Bridgerton on Film.” 

The cover image featured her leaning on Newton’s shoulder, capturing a tender on-set moment between Penelope Featherington (Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Newton).

In a joint interview, Coughlan shared her excitement and nerves about pulling off the prank. She meticulously planned to surprise Newton during a dance scene by switching the show’s music with his boy band song. Despite her nerves, the prank was a success and left Newton pleasantly surprised.

Newton confessed he sensed something unusual in the room just before the reveal. He noticed people glancing at him nervously, unaware of the prank. Reflecting on the moment, he admitted it turned out to be “amazing” and added a fun twist to their filming experience.
