Nicole Kidman is overjoyed about Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup’s recent wedding, which took place earlier this month following their 2023 marriage registration. Speaking with People Magazine, Kidman shared that she and other close friends of Crudup and Watts flew to New Mexico to attend the ceremony. As longtime friends with Watts, dating back decades, Kidman warmly congratulated the couple on their union through a heartfelt Instagram post.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Kidman described her experience at Watts and Crudup’s wedding in Mexico City as truly memorable. Watts herself reflected on the beautiful event, highlighting her joy at witnessing the marriage of Billy and Naomi, their first wedding despite their established careers.

During the ceremony, Watts’ daughter Sasha, whom she shares with ex-Liev Schreiber, walked her down the aisle, a touching moment captured in photos shared by Justin Theroux. Watts also has a 15-year-old daughter, Kai, with Schreiber. Watts and Schreiber ended their 11-year relationship in 2016.

Before their celebration in Mexico City, Watts mentioned on Live with Kelly and Mark that she believed it’s never too late to find love and get married. Their wedding journey began with a simple courthouse ceremony before moving on to the heartfelt gathering in Mexico City.

Both Watts and Kidman shared a stage at the AFI Life Achievement Ceremony, where Kidman was honored. Watts attended to celebrate Kidman’s illustrious career in film, showcasing their enduring friendship and mutual support.
