The film will be directed by Rob Letterman, known for his work on popular animated features, and co-written with Holter. Naito emphasised that ‘Dropz’ will make a cultural statement, infused with contemporary fashion elements to resonate with modern audiences. In addition to ‘Dropz’,” Paramount Animation is working on four other intriguing projects.

Among them is ‘Muttnik’, a sci-fi comedy that follows the adventures of a lovable puppy turned space bandit, produced by industry veterans Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, and Zareh Nalbandian.

Another exciting venture is ‘Once Upon a Motorcycle Dude’, described by Naito as a fairy tale disrupter where a princess teams up with a post-apocalyptic motorcyclist to save their kingdom, challenging traditional fairy tale narratives.

Furthermore, the banner is developing a modern retelling of the classic story ‘Swan Lake’, with Kourtney Kang from ‘How I Met Your Mother’ crafting a contemporary twist. Produced by Temple Hill, this adaptation promises a fresh take on the beloved fairy tale.

Naito expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming projects, highlighting Paramount Animation’s commitment to creating diverse, relatable, and captivating movies for audiences worldwide. The studio aims to continue expanding its slate with innovative storytelling that resonates with both children and families, ensuring a broad and engaging cinematic experience for all.
