After the Kansas City Chiefs secured their victory against the San Francisco 49ers in the 2024 Super Bowl on Sunday, NFL quarterback Patrick Mahomes, 28, shared some lighthearted insights during a quick Q&A session from Disneyland, as ESPN later posted on TikTok. Mahomes, known for his dynamic performances on the football field, revealed a glimpse of his off-field routine when asked about the last song he sang in the shower.

Mahomes confessed to belting out ‘Love Story’ by Taylor Swift, showcasing his appreciation for the singer’s music. Interestingly, Mahomes finds himself entwined in Swift’s narrative in more ways than one, given his close association with her boyfriend, Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce.

Swift and Kelce made their relationship public in October, though Swift hinted that their romance began earlier, coinciding with her being named Time’s 2023 Person of the Year in December. 

Amidst Swift’s busy schedule, which included wrapping up her Eras Tour with shows in Tokyo, she made time to support Kelce in the Super Bowl, flying from Tokyo to Las Vegas for the event.

Their relationship journey has been marked by growth and dedication, with Swift showcasing her commitment by attending Kelce’s high-profile games despite her professional commitments. 

This particular instance saw Swift concluding her tour obligations in Tokyo just a day before the Super Bowl, underlining her dedication to both her career and her relationship.
