Regarding Taylor-Johnson’s possible venture into the world of 007, Brosnan advised him to be bold, embrace the role wholeheartedly, and enjoy the experience.

Taylor-Johnson has neither confirmed nor denied his association with a Bond project, opting to steer clear of the topic during a recent interview with Rolling Stone UK. Instead, he remained focused on his forthcoming projects.

In addition to discussing Taylor-Johnson’s potential as Bond, Brosnan reminisced about his own journey as the renowned British secret agent. He recalled how he and his late wife Cassandra Harris, who also had ties to the Bond franchise, humorously discussed his prospects of playing Bond before he eventually landed the role.

Although Brosnan initially had to decline the opportunity to play Bond due to commitments to the television series Remington Steele, he eventually embraced the role in 1995’s ‘GoldenEye,’ marking the beginning of his portrayal of the iconic character.

Reflecting on his tenure as Bond, Brosnan expressed pride in his work and described the role as a “gift that keeps on giving.”
